From around midnight on the GOS.

A small improvement was shown, apparently more will be known today.  Wanted to be sure everyone here knew.

Thank you for the update. (2.00 / 13)
Small improvement is better than hopeless.  Thoughts and prayers to GreenmountainBoy and commonmass and their families.

commonmass's update: (2.00 / 13)
UPDATE: We have left the hospital for the night. He is stable. Bill in Portland Maine, Common Sense Mainer and our other friend Bill came to visit tonight. GMB02 is a little better, in that he is now putting out more fluid than he is taking in though he is still on dialysis. That he is peeing is important. They have been able to turn the ventilator down a bit. There is still not a lot of long term hope, but it is a positive development. I will post another diary after the team rounds in the morning. Thank you to all of you who have sent such loving and healing and kind words, thoughts, prayers and energy.

He posted that as an update to his earlier diary; I copied here since it has a little more info.  Keeping them in my thoughts and prayers today.

Thanks to you both for the updates. eom (2.00 / 10)

Thanks Avilyn, I missed that. (2.00 / 9)

"Pin your money to your girdle and don't talk to strangers."  My Grandmom's advice when I went away to school.  I don't wear a girdle and have never met a stranger.  Sorry Grandmom!

No problem. (2.00 / 10)
And Bill is currently active over at GOS, so hopefully there will be a fresh update shortly.

Come to me in my dreams, and then
By day I shall be well again!
For so the night will more than pay
The hopeless longing of the day.

Newer news from just a little while ago: (2.00 / 1)
Oh, dear. I really needed this levity today, (51+ / 0-)
Markos. Thanks. BTW, for any who are interested, my partner is marginally better. Still on the vent and dialysis, but they have been able to turn the vent down some and he's showing some signs of knowing what is happening, though he is still in a medically induced coma (they have reduced the drip on that).

We are cautiously optimistic at this time. His twin brother and nephew will be with me here in Portland for a while.
