Welcome to Sunday All Day Brunch. This is an open topic thread so help yourself to the goodies and sit a spell and let us know what is new in your life. I thought today we could let people know what are the best personalized plates you have seen on a car. Here are a few my niece and I have seen in recent days and some old favorites.

COWQLUS (seen at UNCG)
ADVOC8 (always makes me jealous at St. Anne's)
BREAKWND (on a Camaro... um, do you really want to advertise that?)
BO11OCKS (How that got by I don't know)
WEDTWUCK (on a red truck)
ITSYELLOW (on a canary yellow car)

The last one inspired this picture called "Wind Walker."

One that I saw in the college parking lot (many years ago) (2.00 / 6)

Made me smile. :-)

I probably need more coffee though because I can't figure this one out:

I love the picture though! Is that a digital creation or a painting?

I was trying to make it parse as "tense one" but that didn't quite work. (lol, and apparently in addition to coffee I need to relax & chill out a bit, ha!) Thank you. :-)

I totally missed it too! (2.00 / 3)

Any guesses?

Personalized plates, Texas style. I moved to Houston in 1966 and (2.00 / 3)
was surprised to see how many people had personalized plates.  You could get one for an additional $10.  Now to demonstrate that stupid laws were passed by Democrats (back in the day when they ruled Texas), one of the less bright bulbs decided that since so many people bought personalized plates, it would be a swell revenue enhancer to raise the price to $25.  I think the price went up by even more with the result that almost no one buys them.  Killed that particular golden goose!

When we moved from Toronto to South Carolina in the 80s I got a plate that said: (2.00 / 1)
Moon Eh

Because my nickname in Ontario was "Moon", and I was from Canada, eh?

Nobody got it...
